Where is my analytics data processed?
Entirely in your browser. The OAuth handshake routes through Google directly; the access token returned is held in browser memory for the session only. Chart computation and rendering happen client-side. There is no DATA HIT server in the data path for the free tools.
Does this work with Universal Analytics (GA3)?
No. Universal Analytics stopped collecting data on 1 July 2023 and its API was retired on 1 July 2024. The Seasonal Spiral and Timing Grid connect to Google Analytics 4 only.
What is the difference between the free tools and Pro?
All three visualisation tools are free, in-browser, and unlimited for personal use. Pro adds tracked-keyword weekly SERP snapshots, saved view configurations, cross-tool annotations, and a Monday email digest. Pro stores only those derived artefacts on our servers; raw analytics data is still never stored. See the Pro plans page for details.
Is there an API?
Not publicly. The tools are designed as a visual surface, not a data API. If you have a legitimate need for programmatic access (agency integration, paid product embedding), email hello@datahit.co.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email hello@datahit.co with a screenshot if possible. We don't run a public issue tracker yet.
